I'm very excited to be heading to the Gambia for two weeks on Tuesday! I'm even more excited because a host of generous donors - both personal ones and school fundraisers - have raised over $5,000 for the next phase of the birthing house!
So when I meet the women (as well as lots of the new babies) we can talk about plans for the next phase of the house. We're going to look at options for solar lighting and their other plans for improvement. I'll be spending a weekend in the village and am so looking forward to it.
